Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Review

When I first started dabbling in beauty all those years ago I was a strict no-oil girl. In my mind I immediately associated oil with grease and grease with being unclean. Especially when it came to hair. I pretty much had no idea what natural oils were or how they were beneficial and essential to my skin, hair, and nails. Now, I’m all about ‘dat oil – which sounded a lot weirder than I meant it to… But now I know all the amazing benefits there are to using the right oils in your beauty routine! I had the Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil on my desk for a few a little while before I got around to it, and now that I’ve had the pleasure of making use of it I am hooked!

First off, I fell in love with the packaging – the brown glass bottle and glass dropper makes the product feel very luxurious – and at $43 a bottle, rightly so. However, at the end of the day the proof is in the product. This oil is meant to be used as a leave in treatment – but I’ve managed to dye my hair about three times in the past two months so I’ve been using this both as a leave in treatment and as a post shower treatment because my hair is so in need of any extra lovin’ that it can get. And it is working.

My hair normally gets this dry, thirsty, brittle feeling after dyeing – which sends me into a total panic – and my scalp will get irritated or flaky. But not so with this product. It has a very light consistency but the oil itself is very potent, and my hair has maintained lustre and volume despite my multiple dyeings. My favorite way to use this oil though is as a heat protectant – ironing my hair with a few drops of this distributed throughout it leaves my hair looking commercial-worthy shiny and healthy, and I love it!

The scent isn’t unlike many argan oils, and to be frank I don’t care much for it (the scent of argan, Moroccan, moringa, etc. oils), but it’s not an overwhelming scent and it goes away quickly. Personally, I’ve been impressed with the product and will continue to use it. I think the bottle offers a very generous amount of product considering that a little goes a long, long way. Ultimately, if you’re looking for a hair oil that will deliver the honest goods – then this is it.

I have used this product and I agree with you 100%. In addition to my hair I now use Argan Oil as part of my skincare routine – after cleansing and toning and applying the Intense night repair cream (Monsia Skincare) I apply the Argan Oil to my neck and gently around my eyes. It is so soothing and I have noticed that my neck skin has tightened a little. At 70 this is definitely a bonus!
