Ever been curious about the history of wedding rings? I know I’ve been! Someone once told me that wedding bands were made to identify the finger that had a vein that leads directly to your heart. I’m a romantic at heart and willing to believe most sentimental things that have to do with weddings and marriage – but, turns out though that that tradition may have originated somewhere between 866 to 1300 A.D. in Ancient Rome – go figure!
