Beauty Sage Editors’ Picks Sample Box Review

Hi guys! I recently purchased one of Beauty Sage’s curated Editors’ Picks Sample Boxes, and wanted to share with you guys what you can expect should you order a similar box from Beauty Sage. Now for those of you who don’t know, Beauty Sage is an online store by YouBeauty.com – it’s more of an online boutique dedicated to offering the best in health and beauty products that have been tested and proven to work. Now, every one of Beauty Sage’s sample boxes are $5 each (or free with a $75 order) – their featured brands change, but you can choose between four specialized boxes or an Editors’ Picks box.

I purchased the Editors’ Picks Sample Box and here’s what I received:

Beecology Lavender & Honey – I received two sample size bars of Beecology’s relaxing lavender with honey soap. They sent it in the cutest little drawstring bag and had a soothing lavender scent – I loved the packaging and size of this sample.

21 Drops De-Stress Drops – I received a small vial of 21 Drops De-Stress aromatherapy oil drops. Their De-Stress formula includes Frankincense, lavender, ylang ylang and German chamomile that help steady the nerves, relieve tension and reduce irritation. It was a nice sized sample, and the packaging was very well done however this scent wasn’t for me.

A Perfume Organic in Urban Organic – The sample was also a small vial. Urban Organic is constructed of a sweet lemon sorbet bourbon, tangy lime peel, basil, ginger, and smoky vetiver. The scent was akin to a lush vegetable garden – it reminded me of a garden after the rain.

Kneipp Herbal Bath in Valerian and Hops – I have yet to try the sample, but it looks quite nice! The packet was 0.3oz and is supposed to be a relaxing treatment with calming and essential oils that help prepare you for a good night’s sleep.

Snowberry Nourishing Lite Day Cream – This is the sample that I the most EXCITED to share with you guys. First of all, a full sized version of this cream is a 1.7oz bottle which runs for $95 – this means that my 0.10oz packet alone costs more then I paid for the box (it has about $5.59 worth of cream). Secondly, this cream is amazing! The sample I had was made for combination skin (which I have), and combines a wide range herbal of emollients and natural gums to deeply hydrate skin; as well as powerful amounts of antioxidants and collagen-boosting peptides, such as Co Enzyme Q10, to combat the signs of aging. It has a mild clean scent, not overpowering whatsoever, and it absorbed super fast into my skin. Plus, it wasn’t greasy at all – it’s a light cream that provides what I felt to be deep moisture and hydration for my skin. If I had the money, I would totally gift myself with a bottle of this for Christmas!

The products within The Editors’ Picks Sample Box from Beauty Change are subject to change, but based on this experience alone I’m already planning on buying a couple more boxes. I have a few family members that this would make an excellent gift for!

Comments are always welcome! Feel free to ask me any questions about this box, my experience with them, and anything else you might have some questions about!
