It’s about that time of year again – tax time – and that also means (for many) that it’s almost time for your tax return. I don’t know about you, but tax returns can usually result in some interesting purchases. Everything from extravagant dinners to cinnamon pretzel fueled shopping sprees can result from a return. But this year I decided that the best thing for me to do with my bit of extra money was to upgrade my phone – luckily I’m already a dedicated Walmart Family Mobile user, so I knew going in that their plans – including Walmart Family Mobile’s NEW 4G LTE service & Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web plan – and phones were going to be the best way for me to get the most out of my money!

I decided, after much deliberation, that the best phone for me would be the ZTE ZMAX phablet. So I headed to my local Walmart, and after spending an appropriate amount of time in the candy aisle and ogling new DVD’s, picked up the ZTE ZMAX as well as the SIM card. As a blogger and a student I really need a phone that can do more than keep up with me, I need a phone that can make my life a little easier – and so far the ZTE ZMAX has been that phone.

I would like to think that the ghosts of tax returns past played a convincing roll in my decision to upgrade my phone this year. You see, last years tax return may have ended with the purchase of a old fashioned hot dog roller – an item that has collected dust and seen use only once. The ZTE ZMAX is definitely one of the items I own that will never have a chance to collect dust – it’s with me everywhere I go! I take it to school, when I travel, when I’m out during the weekends, when I’m at home, and because it boasts an 8 megapixel camera I also use this instead of my DSLR to take product photos! It’s easily the most impressive tool in my electronic arsenal right now because it full of great features and does so much.

On top of it all, Walmart Family Mobile’s NEW 4G LTE service – which clocks in at $29.88/month (for the first line) for Unlimited Talk, Text & Data which includes up to 500MB of 4G LTE data – is so good that I’m constantly able to fully enjoy all the functions of my new phone!

Want to make the most out of your money? Well, my ZTE ZMAX and Walmart Family Mobile 4G LTE service is easily one of my smartest investments. The service powers my phone and is kind to my wallet, and the phone is something that I carry with me everywhere, so it’s a small investment that positively impacts my life on a daily basis. I love them and I can’t recommend them enough!

Sounds like a great plan! We are pretty boring with our returns. We either save it or it goes towards debts.

We haven’t done a family plan yet, but I want to look into one as soon as our contracts are up. Walmart seems to have such awesome deals!

These are some great buys. I wish I’d be able to take advantage of a tax return. Sadly we always end up owing. We haven’t had a tax return in years. These look like nice phones too and my hubby is in the market for a new phone too.
