Fun, Fab, Fashion from 9thandElm.com!

I love when I’m able to find shops online that feed my fashion obsession – without feeding on my wallet. Just recently, on 9thandElm.com, I was able to find three pieces that were not only exciting, and unique, they were also excellent ways to play up my wardrobe without spending a ton of money.

This first piece was a gorgeous infinity scarf. It was a mix of bright and dark hues, and I loved that it had a lot of The NYC Talon colors. It’s actually one of those pieces that you can dress up or down because of it’s material. I know a lot of infinity scarves come in chunky knits, or thick cotton, but this one was more silky. Therefore you can wear it with a blazer and dress it up, or wear it with a simple waterfall cardigan, a t-shirt, and jeans and take a more laid back outfit and give it just the perfect amount of glamour – like we did here:

My second piece was this really interesting pirate ship t-shirt that freebird had listed on 9thandElm.com – which is another thing, I love that 9andElm.com features a lot of independent designers, that way you know that your piece is really unique. Anyways, I was really drawn to how cool and detailed this shirt was – definitely a conversation starter, and most certainly a step up from the ordinary white tee.

My last piece, though definitely not least, was my customized silver plated BPJ necklace. I initially ordered it to say “The NYC Talon” however, the designer and customer service dept from 9thandElm.com emailed me an image of what the final product was (they weren’t sure it was the look I was going for) and allowed me to get the final say on what I really wanted. They were right, “The NYC Talon” crowded the necklace with capitals and looked confusing, so I decided on “nyctalon” instead and it came out fabulous – so a big thanks to BPJ and 9thandElm.com for flagging that down for me! Isn’t it gorgeous?!

Offering exclusive deals from “handmade, independent, or otherwise cool” sellers, 9thandElm.com was founded by Clay and Elly Bethune in the spring of 2013 with the goal to bring it’s customers fabulous fashion!

I have to say, based on all of these pieces Clay and Elly are doing a fantastic job! I love all of my new pieces and you can totally count on me over-wearing my new nyctalon necklace, haha!

I love the keep calm and stay classy tshirt. I usually don’t like a bunch of words on my shirts but this one stood out in a sophisticated way.

You are uber creative. I never thought to wear an infintiy scarf like that with a shrug (running into my closet to try). Also I have seen these name necklaces EVERYWHERE but never thought to put my blog name on there! Brilliant. Loving the pieces from 9thandElm.com

I just love that scarf! I usually avoid infinity scarves due the fabric they are made of. Your’s however I would wear the heck out of.
