When I was younger I had long, thick brows. My mom said that they were Ingrid Bergman eyebrows. Unfortunately, I reached the age of tweezing at the same time where bushy brows were out and thin, over-plucked, barely discernible brows were in (the 90s were full of fashion and beauty horrors for all of us). Since then I don’t think my eyebrows have ever really recovered. They’ve been permanently damaged by a few years of overzealous plucking. Nowadays, I do what I can to fill them in, so naturally I’m always on the look out for a product that makes my filled-in-faux-brows well, natural. I recently purchased, by way of Topshop’s online store, an Eylure Brow Ink pen.
I had heard about the Brow Ink pen from Eylure from YouTuber, Zoella. She seemed pretty pleased with it and so I decided to order it. I’m not going to lie, $15 seemed a little steep to me for a brow pen seeing as one of my favorite brow products – Sonia Kashuk’s Brow Kit – retails at $10. Still, it sounded intriguing enough and there’s always something special about ordering a product from Europe, don’t you think?
The Eylure Brow Ink pen boasts two tips – one full and one fine tip. The tapered fine tip is my favorite of the two, because although the full tip is designed for filling in larger spaces I feel like the finished look turns out better if you take a little more time and create the appearance of individual brow “hair” with the fine tip. The ink temporarily dyes the skin – but isn’t harsh enough that you wouldn’t be able to remove any mess-ups with makeup remover.
My one issue with this product is that the dye looked really light and I would have loved to see a wider range of shades. Other than that I felt that the quality was nice enough and the packaging felt more high end than I had anticipated. Ultimately, I would definitely buy it again – the design of the two tips is incredibly useful, the formula is good, and the packaging is excellent.

I got the Blonde Eybrow Ink Pen and it SUCKED ASS!!!!!! It made my eyebrows eyebrows green. Eylure, next time try to make a decent product that does the job its advertised to do.
